Have I seen the last of Delio? That is the thought that occupied me Tuesday night while I was doing my circuit training in the gym.
It's been the third week of January and I haven't seen him back. The last time I saw him was during the Christmas party in the gym and we shared a bottle of Bellagio party wine (along with some other members). I miss him. At first, I thought he must have gone on holiday vacation but January is almost over and it seems absurd to think that way anymore. He must already have cancelled his membership and moved on to another. Damn the aliens who suddenly crowded our otherwise elite club!It is loneliness. Things are falling apart. I have resolved not to answer Quincy's text messages and calls. Leslie will be leaving for Italy in the second week of February. And things with Rachel are not the same as they were before.
Am I looking at Delio to provide me some anchor or throw me a life vest? I don't know.

I updated the right margin features on this blog. I posted the covers of the September and October 2007 issues of Details that are presently on my bedside table. The coverboys are Clive Owen and Brad Pitt, respectively.
I also posted the movie posters of National Treasure 2: The Book of Secrets and Alvin and the Chipmunks, both of which I saw during the weekend. This is my review for Chipmunks: Truly entertaining. An outstanding achievement from cartoons to CGI. Fun for both adults and kids.
I am quite biased towards this film. It is one of my favorite cartoon shows as a child. I remember naming three ducks that I bought after school, when I was in grade two, after them. Seeing them again brought back fond memories. Jason Lee was terrific in this film, too.
On the other hand, I dissed NT2 and warned other viewers: Boring and insulting. Go watch American Gangsters or whatever else is currently showing.

Celebrity Radar. After seeing Chipmunks, I spotted model Martin Jickain (photographed above and here in black skimpy trunks) loitering in Shangri-La with a female friend (to my disappointment, was not a celebrity). He was in front of me in the escalator and the first things I noticed and admired were how his triceps bulged in his fitted shirt and how his butt also filled his jeans. My hunk alert was instantly triggered and when I saw his profile I was quick to recognize him.
I have seen this guy on TV and I never gave him a second look. But seeing him in person, this guy is delicious. As they say, I wouldn't kick him out of my bed.
